Brian Romero started obsessively drawing as a young child. Cartoons, sci-fi and video games were early inspirations. In his teens Brian turned to skateboard graphics, comic books and rock n' roll album art. After high school he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City. There Brian studied illustration, graphic design and photography. Instead of graduating, he started working at top creative agencies, making web sites and interactive design during the first internet boom.
In 2007 Brian moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as an artist and illustrator. Initial work included rock posters, concert photography and animation. It wasn't long before his visual style landed him a position as in-house artist for Baker Boys Distribution. There he created twisted art and design for Deathwish, Baker, Shake Junt and Volume 4.
Brian returned to working for himself in 2014. He shares his home studio in La Crescenta with his wife Leah, son Gibson and pug Pixel.
